Purpose
Students of determination at [School name] study the school's curriculum with the adaptations they need. Support is not a separate school inside the school.
Approach
- Needs are identified from classwork, not only from an external report.
- Each plan names what the class teacher will change.
- Assistants support access to the lesson; they do not replace the teacher.
- Families see the plan in language they understand and sign the review date.
- Higher-attaining students are part of adaptation too: harder thinking, not more pages.
- The open-data count of POD students is a dated extract. The live register is the operational list.
